Project Limo is linux based all-in-box solution for media , communication, P2P needs. While providing 7/24 based service, it shall also save electricity, noise and space.

So, we need;

• IPPbx solution – reducing the cost of communication
• Bittorrent Client – sharing media
• Video Surveillance – recording and providing video over internet
• Media playback – play media from receiver without using pc
• Statistics for keeping track of the services running.

And while we need these, the hardware shall also provide the following;

• Eco friendly – save energy
• Compact in size
• Noise free design
• Wireless capabilities.

Using a PC is out of the question due to its size, energy consumption and cooling fans. We will use a single board computer. I will add the details of the hardware in the next post.
